Santa Ana Police Pursuit Ends With Crash: 1 Injured, 2 in Custody

A police chase in Santa Ana at around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1st ended in a crash leaving another motorist with minor injuries.

Police initially tried unsuccessfully to pull over the vehicle near Fifth and Laurel streets. The driver blew through stop signs during a chase lasting about 10 minutes. Eventually the car crashed into another vehicle and a tree near Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue.

The driver and passenger were taken into custody.
