Just past 2:30 a.m., a man in his 50's in a wheelchair was attempting to cross Euclid Street near Warner Avenue. He was struck by a minivan first then an SUV and pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles stopped and have cooperated with the investigation. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol has been ruled out.
The accident remains under investigation as to whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when he was struck, or if he was crossing with a green or red light.
