Last Saturday morning, a man was killed when his motorcycle and a car collided on Chino Hills Parkway, west of Pipeline Avenue. 44-year-old Martin Hernandez was a social worker and a widowed father of two children.
Mr. Hernandez was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle when it collided with a 2019 Nissan driven by an 81-year-old woman from Chino Hills making a left turn out of a shopping center parking lot. It was reported that Mr. Hernandez applied his brakes but was unable to stop and collided with the driver's side of the Nissan. Mr. Hernandez died at the scene.
The collision is being investigated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
