Person Killed After Motorcycle Accident in Cerritos
On Sunday morning at approximately 2:35 a.m. on the 91 Artesia Freeway westbound, west of Shoemaker Avenue, a motorcyclist was killed.
The motorcyclist was riding his 2008 Yamaha R6 in the carpool lane when it veered to the right adjacent lane where there was a 2013 Ford and the two collided.
The motorcyclist, 37-year-old Anthony Tyrone Boyd Jr. of Long Beach, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the party bus has been identified as 61-year-old Padashi Cyrus of Arcadia.
No arrests have been made and authorities are investigating.
