Accident on I-5 Freeway Near Ortega Highway

Around 11:11 a.m. Friday, an accident occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Ortega Highway.

Three vehicles were involved in a crash in which one person was injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.

The events leading up to the collision were not immediately known, and an investigation is under way.
