Woman, 18, Killed in Multi-vehicle Crash in Oceanside
Around 11:12 p.m. at the intersection of El Camino Real and Fire Mountain Drive in Oceanside, a multi-vehicle collision killed an 18-year-old teenager.
One driver was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
It was reported that one vehicle was going southbound on El Camino Real when it crossed the center median then struck a fire hydrant before traveling into oncoming traffic and colliding with two vehicles heading northbound. The collision caused one of the northbound vehicles to roll over.
Unfortunately, Oceanside resident Dalila Jebrail who was one of the northbound drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver heading southbound who crossed over the median is being investigated on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was also injured and taken to the hospital.
