At about 10:50 p.m., Anaheim police were called and found a man lying in the street near Euclid Avenue and Sallie Lane.
It was reported the man was trying to cross the Euclid when he was struck by a vehicle heading northbound. The intersection is not marked with crosswalks nor does it have any traffic lights.
The driver was cooperative and remained on scene.
The victim later died at a hospital.
The cause of the accident has not been made public yet but it was determined that drugs and alcohol were not factors.
