On Friday, prior to 2:54 p.m. on northbound Highway 14 near Crown Valley Road, a big rig and a car collided resulting in a fire on the side of the big rig that was carried to nearby brush.
The resulting fire burned a quarter acre before it was knocked down by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Two people were airlifted from the crash and one person needed to be extracted after being trapped in a car.
