Two Children Killed in Two-vehicle Wreck in Menifee
At approximately 5:20 pm, two children were killed when they were ejected from their vehicle in a head-on collision.
16-year-old Aaliyah Girard and 1-year-old Legend Aries Girard of San Jacinto were the victims when two vehicles collided after one veered out of its lane.
The collision involved a Chevrolet Silverado that was towing a trailer in which the children were passengers and a Ford F-150 pickup. Both vehicles were headed west on Domenigoni Parkway near Lindenberger Road when the Ford diverted out of its lane and struck the Chevrolet tipping it over and ejecting the two children.
The Ford was driven by an 18-year-old from Corona.
Unfortunately, the children were not properly restrained in their vehicle.
