ACCIDENT: Bonsall on October 29, 2021

58-Year-Old Vista Man killed in Bonsall Crash

 

Around 11:45 am at the 31500 block of Old River Road, a head-on collision claimed the life of one person. 

For reasons still unknown, a 58-year-old Vista man was driving a Honda Civic in a westerly direction in the westbound lane of Old River Road when he veered out of his lane into the eastbound lane. In the eastbound lane was a 60-year-old Escondido man driving a Ford F-350 pick-up truck.

The driver of the Civic was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

Old River Road was closed until about 2:10 p.m.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the California Highway Patrol.
